Live music night at Chess Club featuring Wild Heaven, Social Dissonance, Mad Whit and Maiden Mother Crone, with Wild Heaven celebrating their single release 'One to Go'.
Wild Heaven are playing Chess Club on Thursday, September 10, and the night doubles as a single release: they're celebrating the coming out of One to Go. It's a four-band bill, with Social Dissonance, Mad Whit, and Maiden Mother Crone all on the same ticket.
Chess Club is downtown at 617 Red River St, in the space that used to be Plush. It's an intimate live-music room known for booking up-and-coming bands and underplays, so this fits right in. The night is built around One to Go, the new single from Wild Heaven, and that's what they're coming out to mark.
The lineup is spread across the whole evening, so you can catch the full run or just drop in for the later sets. Maiden Mother Crone opens things off at 8:30 PM, followed by Mad Whit at 9:15 PM. Social Dissonance takes over at 10:00 PM, and Wild Heaven closes it out at 10:45 PM. With the headliner not hitting the stage until late, it's a long night that carries through to the early hours.
