Weekly Sunday whiskey gathering at the local bar Kitty Cohen's.
Whiskey Sundays is back at Kitty Cohen's this Sunday, September 20, as part of its weekly run. It's a Sunday session that keeps the same name as the series, and it's one of those things that happens every week, so if you miss this one, there's another coming right after it.
Kitty Cohen's is a bar on Webberville Road, and it takes its name from a local legend: Kitty Cohen, a martini and rum-runner drinker who can shoot whiskey, claims to have made out with a Beatle, smokes cigars, chooses the beach over church, and keeps religion, politics and sex at the dinner table. Her house is described as a shrine to her worldly travels, though the joke goes that she's never left Palm Beach and that the 1970s were her decade. It's that kind of character the place is built around.
