Westend plays The Concourse Project on Friday, August 28, bringing house and tech house to the venue's main room. It's a live set, so you'll be hearing the music as it's built out in the room rather than a pre-recorded mix.

If you're not familiar with the venue, The Concourse Project is a modern indoor/outdoor space sitting by the south terminal of the airport. It's a modular warehouse turned destination venue, and most of its shows happen inside an 18,000-plus square foot main event hall. The venue bills itself as the home of Seismic Dance Events and Realmusic Events, and it specializes in dance music events, concerts, festivals, and special events. For this one, the set is taking place in The Hangar, the venue's main event space.

Westend works in house and tech house, and this is a live performance, so the set is built around those two styles. The Concourse Project's focus on dance music fits right in with that, and the scale of the main hall gives the sound plenty of room to breathe. It's a Friday night, and the show starts at 9 PM.
