Soul Man Sam plays Antone's on Monday, August 17, as part of the Blue Monday series presented by We Smile Blaack. He's not alone on the bill: Brad Stivers and Madison are joining him for the night, so you'll get three acts in one go. It's a Monday night show, which is exactly what the Blue Monday name points to.
Antone's is a name that doesn't need much introducing around here. It's been known as Austin's 'Home of the Blues' since 1975, and over the years it's hosted a long list of legends—B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles, and James Brown. It's also been a starting point for local names who went on to make their own mark, including Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bob Schneider, and Gary Clark Jr. If you're more of a behind-the-scenes person, the club runs a 60-minute guided full-venue tour that takes you backstage and includes a screening of never-before-seen performances.

On the night, the music starts at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7 PM. Entry is free for people in the music and service industries, and there are $1 Cliffy Dogs all night long. Just keep in mind that entry is restricted to over-21s, so bring your ID.
