Austin Food & Wine Festival

The Austin Food & Wine Festival returns to Auditorium Shores from November 6 to 8, 2026, pairing bites from Central Texas favorites and top chefs from across the country with wines, brews and spirits, all set against the Austin skyline. The whole weekend is built around open-flame cooking, so if you're into grilling, this is your weekend.

The center of the action is the fire pit talent stage, run by a lineup of pitmasters—described as majority women—who spend the weekend working over the coals. If you'd rather be on the other side of the grill, there's 'Hands-On Grilling,' where you cook over a charcoal grill yourself while a chef shares pitmaster tips. Friday evening is reserved for 'Made In Texas,' a celebration of Texas foodie style with tailgate fare and open-flame cooking. Chef demos and guided tasting sessions round out the program, and there's a virtual event for anyone who can't make it in person.
