Festival with 80 Texas craft breweries and more than 200 handcrafted beers for sampling, with food trucks and live music.
The Texas Craft Brewers Festival returns to Fiesta Gardens in East Austin on Saturday, November 14. It's put on by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the non-profit trade association that works on behalf of the state's craft brewing industry through advocacy and education. The Guild is also the group behind the professional Texas Craft Brewers Cup and the Texas Brewery Passport app, which lets you collect stamps, badges, and points at more than 200 member breweries across the state. Through its political action committee, CraftPAC, the Guild pushes for 21st-century legislative reforms for the industry.
This year's festival is billed as the largest celebration of small and independent Texas craft brewers anywhere. Around 80 Texas craft breweries will be there, with more than 200 handcrafted beers on tap to sample. Between pours, there's a lineup of food trucks to keep you fed: Garbo's Lobster, YAPA Artisan Empanadas, Shawarma Point, JABS Smash Burgers, and the Obsidian Brewery Pizza Truck. Music runs throughout the day, with sets from Parker Woodland, Bat City Brass Band, and DJ GrossYall.
One detail to keep in mind: the festival lands on National Pickle Day, so the organizers are promising extra fermented fun throughout the day. It's a strictly 21+ event, and you'll need a printed or mobile ticket to get in.
