Live music with Junkyard ATX at Vacancy Brewing as part of the summer music series.
Junkyard ATX takes the stage at Vacancy Brewing on Thursday, September 3, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's a live set and the finale of Vacancy Vibrations, a four-part summer series the brewery put together with Junkyard ATX. Each of the four shows featured a different local band, and this one closes out the run.
There's a bit more to the night than just the music. Junkyard ATX is on a mission to provide free rehearsal space for HAAM-registered musicians across the city, and they bring their rehearsal bus on-site to every event. It's there for you to see what they're building and how they're working to keep Austin's local music scene thriving. Since this is the finale, they're adding behind-the-scenes tours of the rehearsal space, so you can get a closer look at the project they've been talking about all summer.

If you're coming hungry, the brewery's kitchen—Salam's Grill and Captain's Pizza—serves food throughout the night, so you can grab a bite while you're there. The show is indoors and air-conditioned, which is a relief for a September night in Austin. It's free to attend, though they ask for an RSVP. The music runs from 7 PM to 9 PM at 415 E. St. Elmo Rd.
