Oktoberfest celebration with beer specials, two-step lessons, stein hoist competition, live music and food from Salams Grill.
Vacancy Brewing is bringing back its Texas Honky Tonk for Oktoberfest Y'all on Saturday, October 17, from 12 PM to 7 PM. It's a full-day celebration that mixes traditional German Oktoberfest with a Texas twist, and the dress code is just as mixed: they're encouraging everyone to show up in Lederhosen and cowboy boots.
On the beer side, there are Festbier specials and a stein release. If you're feeling competitive, there's a stein hoist competition—the classic test of who can hold a full glass at arm's length the longest. Between the drinks, they're running two-step lessons, so you can get your footing before the dance floor fills up. Live music comes from Dustin Brown, and Salams Grill will be on site with food specials.
