Unknown Trivia

Unknown Trivia is a weekly trivia night at The Barton Springs Saloon, and it runs every Monday from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's hosted by Alden Schaub, who handles the questions and keeps the night moving. The format is pretty straightforward: you put together a team and go head-to-head against other trivia enthusiasts in the room.

The questions cover a wide range of ground—pop culture, history, sports, and science—so you don't need to be an expert in any one thing to stay in the game. They run from easy to challenging, which means there's usually something for everyone, whether you're a casual player or someone who knows their deep cuts. It's played in person, and since it's at the Saloon, you can grab drinks and bites while you work through the rounds with your team.

There's a real incentive for coming out, too: the top three teams walk away with gift cards to the Saloon. If you've got a group of friends who like to argue over random facts, this is a good place to put that to use. You can roll up with your own crew or just bring a few people and see how you stack up against the rest of the room.

It's free to play, so there's no buy-in to get started. You'll find it at The Barton Springs Saloon, 424 South Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78704, every Monday from 7 PM to 9 PM.
