Turn On! is a weekly live studio audience experience hosted by Miz Zgi Zgi, who also serves as executive producer of Rain on 4th Media Studios. It runs every Tuesday night at RAIN on 4th in Austin, with the room in charge of what happens. The format is straightforward: three performers pitch original TV pilots they've written, and the audience decides which one makes the cut. It's a rotating cast of performers each week, so the pitches change every time.
Because it's a weekly fixture, you can drop in on any Tuesday that works for you. The night is built around the room's reaction, and the audience gets to act as the deciding factor in which pilot moves forward. With a different set of performers each week, you'll hear a new batch of ideas every time you go. Music is provided by Montez.
