Concert by Tōth, the project of Alex Toth, with William Alexander as the supporting act at The Mohawk.
Tōth plays The Mohawk on Tuesday, October 13, with William Alexander opening. It's part of the Resound Presents series, and the show is all ages.
Tōth is the project of Alex Toth, a Brooklyn-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who used to be in Rubblebucket. He's known for emotionally direct songwriting, a magnetic stage presence, and his trumpet playing. Critics have drawn comparisons to the melodic elegance of late Paul McCartney, the inventive flamboyance of Beck, and the work of David Byrne.
His third album, And The Voice Said, came out February 27, 2026, on Northern Spy//Egghunt Records. It was co-produced by Grammy nominee Caroline Rose and features Kimbra. That's the record he's touring, so you can expect to hear it in full.
