TOPS & BOTTOMS A Gender Affirming Care Fundraiser

TOPS & BOTTOMS is a fundraiser for gender-affirming care happening at Kick Butt Coffee on Friday, August 28. Hosted by Solovino, it's an evening of live music and drag, and it's part of the ongoing Trans Mission effort to help transgender community members access gender-affirming healthcare and related recovery needs.

The music comes from Calbie GRDN and Samitola, and the drag lineup includes Calor, St. Loren, Onyx, Eros, and Khunt. Between the two bands and five performers, there's enough on the bill to keep the night moving from the first set through the last. The whole thing is 18+.

Kick Butt Coffee has been a fixture of Austin's live music and local arts scene for more than 18 years, so it's a familiar room for a night like this. The fundraiser is part of Trans Mission, which raises money to help trans people in the community get the healthcare and recovery support they need. If you've been following that work, this is one of the nights that feeds into it.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show runs from 7 PM to midnight. There's a suggested donation of $10, and additional donations and merchandise will be available throughout the evening. If you're planning to go, just keep in mind it's 18+.
