Stand-up comedy show with Yvette Segan at Cap City Comedy Club.
Yvette Segan is headlining Cap City Comedy Club on Friday, October 17, at 10 PM. She's a New York-based comedian, actor, writer, and producer who performs stand-up worldwide, and this is her night in Austin.
If you've come across her online, you already know the vibe. She's built a following of more than 500,000 across her platforms with sarcastic, dark comedy and a relentless internet presence. Her videos have been picked up by Buzzfeed, Betches, New Yorkers, and Barstool, so there's a good chance you've seen her clips before you've seen her live. She's also the co-creator and star of the web series Run Club.
She's not just a social media presence, though. Segan headlined the New York Comedy Festival in 2024 and 2025, and she's played rooms like Top Secret in London, Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco, The Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles, Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, and Don't Tell in Washington, DC. She brings a formal background to the stage as well: a BA in Drama from Vassar College and a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
