The Red Room at Cap City: Alvin Kuai

Alvin Kuai is bringing his stand-up to Cap City Comedy Club on Wednesday, November 6, at 7:30 PM. He's a New York City comic and a regular at the Comedy Cellar and other city clubs, and he's touring the country headlining comedy venues right now.

Kuai has a solid run of credits behind him. He's been featured twice in the New York Comedy Festival, where he was named a 'Comic to Watch' in 2021 and 'Best of New Talent' in 2019. He was also selected for SF Sketchfest 2022 and the 2021 Red Clay Comedy Festival, and he made the 2019 Devil Cup final. He's built more than 200,000 followers across social media, and this is one of the stops on his current tour.

The show is in The Red Room, which the club describes as a snug room where every seat is close enough to catch the performer. It's an 18+ venue, and they enforce a two-item minimum per person in the showroom—that can be any food or drink, and it doesn't have to be alcohol.

Tickets run from $10 to $40, and the show starts at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, November 6, at Cap City Comedy Club, 11506 Century Oaks Terrace Unit 100, Austin, TX 78758.
