The Pretty Reckless

The Pretty Reckless play ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Thursday, July 23, starting at 8 PM. They're touring their new album, Dear God, which came out in 2025 and marks their fifth original studio record. The lead single, "For I Am Death," became their eighth number one at rock radio.

Fronted by Taylor Momsen and guitarist Ben Phillips, the band writes all their own music. They started with Light Me Up, which gave them the number one rock hit "Make Me Wanna Die." Their second album, Going to Hell, debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 and produced three number one rock radio hits, including "Heaven Knows," which held the top spot for 18 weeks. After the losses of Chris Cornell and producer Kato Khandwala in 2017 and 2018, they returned in 2019 and 2020 with Death by Rock and Roll, which topped the charts in 11 countries and set the record for the most number one songs by any female-fronted rock act. Dear God is their fifth studio album, and "For I Am Death" is their eighth number one at rock radio.

They're not the only ones on the bill. Paris Jackson and doug are also scheduled to play, so the night starts well before the main set. The show is at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, July 23, with the music kicking off at 8 PM.
