The Mox headline the show with Junkbunny, Bad Press and Bicycle Boy at Swan Dive, a 21+ rock music night.
The Mox headline Swan Dive on Thursday, July 30, as part of their Texas tour. It's a local homecoming for them—they're an Austin band, and this is one of the stops they're playing on their way across the state. They're touring their debut album, Sorry for Your Loss, which came out in March.
The bill is built around full-fledged rock, and the supporting acts bring a few different flavors to the night. Junkbunny are Austin veterans, and they describe their sound as 90s-influenced, grungy, hooky jams. Bad Press lean into a different corner of the room, with buttery, reverby vocals that sit on the melodic side of things. And then there's Bicycle Boy, who are billed as power-pop sweethearts. Between the grunge, the reverb, and the power-pop, the lineup covers a fair bit of ground before The Mox take the stage.
