Live music night featuring The Mox, Southbound Echoes, and Dizzy Bangers at Valhalla.
The Mox, Southbound Echoes, and Dizzy Bangers are all on the same bill at Valhalla on Wednesday, October 14. It's a four-band night put together by the venue, with music running from 8:30 PM until midnight.
Southbound Echoes is an Austin alternative rock quartet that almost didn't happen. After losing a member, the band waited two years before the fourth piece finally clicked into place, found through a Craigslist ad and friends. Frontman Ben Buerman brings range and power to every song, while Carlos Flores Montes, Joseph Goodrick, and Kibler Hufstedler shape the sound around him.
The night starts early and keeps moving. Missouri Band, made up of members of Honorable Mentions, opens at 8:30 PM. Dizzy Bangers follow at 9:15 PM, and Southbound Echoes takes the stage at 10:15 PM. The Mox closes the bill, starting at 11:15 PM. If you're coming for a specific act, it pays to keep those times in mind so you don't miss them.
