Nine-time Tony Award winning Best Musical, The Book of Mormon, arrives in Austin as part of the Broadway In Austin series at Bass Concert Hall.
The Book of Mormon comes to Bass Concert Hall from June 8 to 13, 2027, as part of the Broadway In Austin series. It's a nine-time Tony Award winner for Best Musical, and critics have called it the funniest musical of all time and the best of this century. The story follows a mismatched pair of missionaries sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word, and it's become an international sensation with standing-room-only productions in London, on Broadway, and across North America.
The show runs two and a half hours with one intermission, and it's recommended for ages 13 and up because of explicit language. It arrives in Austin as part of the Broadway In Austin series at Bass Concert Hall, the University of Texas at Austin's home for Texas Performing Arts for the past 35 years. The venue has hosted the Austin premieres of Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Cats, and The Phantom of the Opera.
