A pottery painting session with a football theme to celebrate the start of the football season, part of The Art Garage's 'Pre-Game Paint-Gate' series.
The Art Garage Oak Hill is hosting Tailgate Paint Night on Saturday, September 5, from 5 PM to 8 PM. It's part of their Pre-Game Paint-Gate series, a run of football-themed painting sessions meant to mark the start of the season. The idea is simple: you pick out some football-themed pottery and spend the evening decorating it with friends. It's pitched as a good fit for a girls' night, a date night, family fun, or just anyone ready for football season to kick off.
If you haven't been, The Art Garage is a walk-in art studio with more than 250 items for paint-your-own-pottery, along with clay projects and fused glass. They also do art parties, tie-dye, canvas painting, jewelry making, Storytime Art, art classes, and art camps. Their classroom and party room seat more than 20 people, and there's plenty of room to spread out. The pottery you paint isn't included in the ticket price, but it's discounted at the event, and once you're finished, it's fired and ready for pick-up seven days later.
