Stanley Simmons, the folk-rock duo fronted by the sons of KISS legends, performs at the iconic Antone's Nightclub in Austin.
Stanley Simmons plays Antone's on Thursday, September 17, with Velvet Daydream opening. It's a folk-rock duo fronted by Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, the sons of KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. They've built their sound around harmony singing and Americana influences, and they're touring their debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending.
Antone's is a 750-capacity room in downtown Austin that opened in 1975. It earned the nickname "Home of the Blues" after booking acts ranging from B.B. King to Stevie Ray Vaughan. The venue also serves Antone's Famous Po Boys, a recipe created by Clifford Antone's uncle Jalal in 1962.
