The Peached Tortilla runs its Social Hour on the patio from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. It's a regular fixture for the restaurant, which sits at 5520 Burnet Road, Suite 100, in the heart of Allandale, between Rosedale, Brentwood and Crestview.
The restaurant started as an award-winning food truck and grew into a full-service catering company and this brick-and-mortar home on Burnet Road. The kitchen does Southern-Asian fusion, modern Asian comfort food with a Texas twist that pulls from Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian flavors. Signature dishes include BBQ brisket and banh mi tacos, the JapaJam burger, kimchi arancini balls, dan dan noodles, chicken katsu curry and Korean steak & eggs. The drinks list runs from signature cocktails and specialty Asian whiskies to a curated mocktail menu, and kids eat free at dinner on Sundays.
Beyond the regular menu, they run weekly specials: Steak & Frites on Tuesday, Fried Chicken & Whiskey on Wednesday, and Ramen on Thursday night, with brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Social Hour is the daily counterpart to those, running Tuesday through Sunday when the restaurant is open—they're closed on Mondays.
