Immersive pirate-themed pop-up tavern with nautical grog, themed cocktails, and pirate décor at The Eleanor.
Shipwreck'd is taking over The Eleanor as a pirate pop-up tavern from July 1 through August 30, 2026. It's an immersive, multi-sensory experience spread across multiple rooms, all decked out in seafaring décor. The whole place is built around the theme, and there's a pirate-themed Spotify playlist running in the background to keep the mood going. One of the things they encourage you to do is pose for a photo next to One-Eyed Willy, a fallen captain figure on display.
The menu leans hard into the theme, too. There are 12 themed cocktails, three musket shots, and three plundering punches, along with two non-alcoholic grogs for when you're not drinking. Beyond the cocktails, they've got pirate-themed ales, wines, and snacks on the go. And if you're feeling committed, there's a dress code: show up in full pirate outfit and you'll get 10% off your food and drinks.

The hours run Sunday through Wednesday from 3 PM to midnight, and Thursday through Saturday from 3 PM to 2 AM. Happy hour is daily from 3 PM to 6 PM. You'll find it at The Eleanor, 307 W 5th Street, Austin, TX 78702.
