An all-star improv comedy night where the audience shares stories that are improvised into a live performance on the fly.
Secret Stash is running on Saturday nights at Fallout Theater, with the limited run going through August 29. It's an all-star improv night at one of Austin's go-to spots for alternative improv, sketch and stand-up, and the whole thing is built around the audience.
The premise is simple: you share your own stories, and the comedians turn them into a totally improvised live performance on the fly. To keep things moving and unpredictable, they spin a comedy wheel to shape the show as it goes. Since the material comes from the room, no two nights end up the same.
The regular cast has picked up Austin Chronicle Best Of and B. Iden Payne Critics Awards, so there's some real pedigree behind the scenes. The venue leans into its basement vibe, with a downtown lobby lounge to hang out in before the show starts. If you're 21 or older, it's BYOB, so you can bring your own drinks along.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
