Scott H. Biram plays VINYL Beauty Bar on Sunday, August 30, and the night is more than just a single set. It's the venue's 8th anniversary, and they're marking it with a full bill: Biram headlines, followed by BROTHER, a Danzig tribute featuring members of The Black Angels, Sex Pump, and The Shanks. DJ DevilWoman and DJ Tinita Turn-Up are also on the lineup, so the music runs long before and after the live acts.
Biram is a Texas native who works as a one-man orchestra. He blends hillbilly gospel, gutbucket blues, breakneck bluegrass, and roadhouse rock 'n' roll, all held together by a punk-rock spirit. Critics have a hard time pinning the sound to one genre, but fans just call it Scott H. Biram. He grew up on dirt roads and cut his teeth in dive bars, building a following one sweaty, stomping performance at a time. His shows are described as part revival, part riot—a raucous communion where grit meets grace.

The night is 21+ only, with limited capacity and free beer while supplies last. It also benefits HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians), which is funded in part by The Austin Live Music Fund. Doors open at 4 PM and run until 10 PM, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. The cover is $25, available in presale or at the door.
