Royal Dukes

Royal Dukes are playing The ABGB on Tuesday, September 8, from 8 PM to 10 PM. It's a mid-week show in South Austin, and it's free.

If you haven't spent much time there, The ABGB—short for The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co.—is a pizza and pint hangout built around a large outdoor patio and a rotation of signature brews made on the premises. It's been open since 2013, and its inside stage has become a regular stop for local bands. The room holds around 270 people, with a laid-back, shared-table vibe, good sound, and plenty of floor space in front of the stage. It's also dog- and kid-friendly, so it's the kind of place where you can bring the whole crew without thinking twice. In 2014, it was a Best of Austin Critics Pick for Best Room With a Brew.

With the show running from 8 PM to 10 PM, it's a two-hour window on a Tuesday night, and since it's free, there's no ticket to worry about. The ABGB is located at 1305 W. Oltorf, right in the heart of South Austin.
