Texas power-punk band Riverboat Gamblers live at Valhalla, with The Oxys and Outta Grace.
Riverboat Gamblers play Valhalla on Saturday, October 24, with The Oxys and Outta Grace opening. The night runs from 9 PM to 1 AM, and the show is 21 and up.
Riverboat Gamblers are an Austin-by-way-of-Denton Texas power-punk five-piece. Their fiery garage-punk has spanned nearly two decades, and they've built a reputation for raucous, unpredictable live shows that have more than once ended in injury and blood. The sound pairs Cheap Trick-ian hooks and gang vocals with the pathos of trucker speed and free-clinic waiting rooms. Mike Wiebe fronts the band on vocals, with Fadi El-Assad and Ian MacDougall on guitar and vocals, Rob Marchant on bass and vocals, and Sam Keir on drums.
