Doom Records presents a night of doom metal featuring Puppy Mill, Pain God, Swiss and Bug at Mohawk Austin.
Puppy Mill headline Mohawk Austin on Saturday, July 25, with Doom Records presenting. They're coming in from the DFW area, so this is a Texas-crossing bill rather than a local one. The rest of the lineup stays closer to home: Austin's own Pain God, Swiss, and Bug all share the bill, making it a night that pulls from both sides of the I-35 corridor.
With Puppy Mill taking the top slot and three Austin acts filling out the rest, it's a four-band run. Pain God, Swiss, and Bug are all based here in town, so you'll likely recognize a few of the names from around the local scene. Doom Records is the one putting it together, and they've kept the whole thing within the state.

It's a Saturday night show, which gives you a bit of room to breathe before the work week starts again. The music starts at 8 PM, so you've got the whole evening ahead of you. Tickets are $10, and since it's at Mohawk, you're right in the middle of things. If you've been keeping an eye on the DFW and Austin scenes, this is one of those nights where the two overlap for a few hours on the same stage.
