Professor Brian Cox brings his new show, Emergence, to Bass Concert Hall on Wednesday, February 3, 2027. Emergence follows his previous show, Horizons, which he took to nearly half a million people around the world. Cox describes this one as "the most ambitious live show I've ever written." He collaborated with scientists, musicians, filmmakers, and graphic artists to bring cosmology, biology, philosophy, and history together on the largest and most advanced LED screens available, with the sound and lights to match. Before he became a fixture of popular science, Cox had a different kind of public life: he was the keyboardist in the Brit-Pop band D:REAM.
