Pre-Game with Verdadero Tequila

Verdadero Tequila is taking over the Fairmont Austin rooftop pool on Friday, October 16, for a pre-game celebration that stretches from the pool deck into the hotel's Fulton bar. It's a two-part afternoon: the poolside portion runs from 11 AM to 2 PM, and the cocktail activation at Fulton follows from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The same setup returns a week later on Friday, October 23.

If you haven't spent much time there, the Fairmont's rooftop pool is a regular party spot. They run a DJ Series every Friday and Saturday, with themed weekends like 'Flamingle' parties, Tiki takeovers, and Wild West weekends, each paired with a curated spirit pop-up and live DJ sets. This Verdadero activation fits right into that rotation. The poolside side of things is open to more than just hotel guests, too—Day Passes and Cabana Packages are available through ResortPass if you're not staying on-site.

That same pool deck doubles as a game-day hub, and throughout October, it hosts Dive-In Movies: Spooky Edition every Friday night. So if you're starting your afternoon with the tequila activation, you can stick around for the movie later. The two-part format means you can catch the poolside side from 11 AM to 2 PM and then move over to Fulton from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
