Six weeks of competitive pinball league play with Swiss-style qualifying and a double elimination finals night, open to players of all experience levels.
The Original Pinballz Arcade is bringing back the Pinballz Sunday League for Season 2, running every Sunday from August 2 through September 13. That's seven weeks in total: six qualifying weeks followed by a finals night. It starts at 4 PM at 8940 Research Blvd in Austin, and it's open to players of all experience levels, so you don't need to be a pro to jump in.
The qualifying weeks run in four-player groups with Swiss-style pairing, which means you'll play against people with similar records as the season goes on. Points are awarded based on where you land in your group: 7 for first, 5 for second, 3 for third, and 1 for fourth. To keep things fair if you miss a week or have a rough day, your two lowest weekly scores are dropped. The top players from those qualifying weeks advance to a double-elimination finals night, where the top three split a prize pool.

All league play follows IFPA player conduct rules, and the events are IFPA-certified, so your results count toward official player rankings. If you're not a Sunday person, the venue also runs a Pinballz Monday League on Mondays at 7:30 PM using the same format. Entry is $10 per week.
