Auntie Peachfuzz magazine release party with live folk-rock sets from Tuskola and Jammy Violet at Radio/East, for ages 18 and up.
Jammy Violet headlines the Peachfuzz Release Party at Radio/East on Saturday, October 24, with Tuskola opening the bill. The night is built around the release of Peachfuzz Magazine Issue 35, and the music follows suit: live folk-rock sets and burlesque. It's a mixed bill that leans more toward a variety show than a standard concert, with the magazine's new issue as the occasion.
Radio/East is one of three Radio Coffee & Beer spots in Austin, alongside Radio South and Radio Rosewood. The coffee shop side has been voted the city's best ten years in a row, and the venue side rounds out the business with live music, trivia, an outdoor patio, its own merchandise, and fresh coffee beans. The whole thing is presented by Radio/East.
