An all-inclusive Austin City Limits Music Festival benefit night with a private Cold War Kids concert, featuring food, drinks, games and auctions.
Cold War Kids are playing a private concert at Stubb's on Wednesday, October 7, as part of Party for the Parks. The night runs from 6 PM to 10 PM, with hosts Trevor Scott and Sarah K. Wolf and cowboy auctioneer Heath Hale on the mic. It's an all-inclusive experience with food, drinks, games, and both silent and live auctions, and it sits inside the Austin City Limits Music Festival as part of the Platinum ACL experience.
Party for the Parks is the Austin Parks Foundation's biggest fundraising event of the year. The proceeds go toward the foundation's work caring for nearly 400 parks, trails, and green spaces across the city. The foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing high-quality parks for every Austinite, and the party has funded improvements and innovative programming citywide.
Cold War Kids, a California indie-rock outfit, have released more than ten studio albums and EPs across nearly two decades. Their 2015 single "First" became one of the most played songs on alternative radio, and their 2023 self-titled tenth LP yielded "Double Life," "Run Away With Me," and "Heaven in Your Hands." In 2025 they released Any Day Now, a tribute to their late friend Richard Swift.
