Concert by the Japanese metalcore, industrial and nu-metal band Paledusk at the Come and Take It Live venue in Austin.
Paledusk play Come and Take It Live on Monday, October 19, at 6 PM. They're a four-piece from Fukuoka, Japan, and this is their Austin stop. The lineup is KAITO, DAIDAI, TSUBASA, and BOB.
They broke out in early 2020 with the four-track EP Happy Talk, and the sound they've built since then pulls from a few different places at once: metalcore, industrial, nu-metal, and EDM. It's a lot to fit into one set, but that's the whole point—the heavy riffs and electronic textures run side by side rather than taking turns. Over the years they've toured Japan supporting acts like Alpha Wolf, Polaris, and The Amity Affliction, so they're no strangers to the metalcore circuit.

The show is at Come and Take It Live, a genre-neutral Austin venue that hosts music, art, and film from around the world. It's a two-story space with high-end audio and lighting, and there are a few different ways to watch: a main general admission floor, a mezzanine, an upstairs balcony, a VIP Balcony, and a VIP Sky Box. There's also a smoking patio, an artist green room, and two full bars with pool tables and corn hole if you want to hang out before the set starts. The night is all ages, so you can bring along anyone you want. Doors open at 6 PM.
