Stand-up comedy night featuring Griefcat, Clitterati, and My Boy! as part of the Out of Bounds Comedy festival at Rozco's Comedy Club.
Griefcat, Clitterati, and My Boy! take the stage at Rozco's Comedy Club on Thursday, November 5, as part of Out of Bounds Comedy. It's a stand-up night with three comics on one bill, and it's one of the stops in a festival that runs across Austin from November 5 to 8.
Out of Bounds Comedy is Austin's own improv, sketch, and stand-up festival, and it's been running since 2002. It's known as the city's long-running indie comedy fest, spread over four days in November across four venuesβRozco's is one of them, alongside ColdTowne Theater and Fallout Theater. The festival sits in a comedy scene with deep roots tracing back to the 1980s DIY shows and late-night stand-up sets, which grew into a broad network of stages, collectives, festivals, and open mics. Anchoring that scene are Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership, the sketch and musical revue at Esther's Follies on 6th Street, and the Velveeta Room, the city's longest-running comedy club, founded in 1988.

Rozco's itself is an intimate East Austin spot owned by local Austinites and Cap City alumni. It came to the city in early 2021 from The Creek and The Cave, which brought it here after closing its New York doors. It's an 18+ venue, so you'll need to be of age to get in. If you're looking for a night of stand-up, Griefcat, Clitterati, and My Boy! are the three on the bill for November 5.
