Novus Rose celebrates the release of their debut EP 'A Place For Us' with a live performance, expanded lineup, and a DJ set by Augi D.
Novus Rose are celebrating the release of their debut EP, A Place For Us, at Las Perlas on Saturday, August 22. It's a full evening of music that runs from 5 PM to 10 PM, and the band is playing the whole EP from start to finish.
They're not doing it as a standard club set. For the release show, they've expanded their lineup and brought in special guest musicians to back them up, so the songs get a bigger arrangement than you'll find on the record. The set also includes the live debut of brand-new, unreleased music, with a few fan favorites mixed in. If you've been following them for a while, it's a good chance to hear the new material alongside the older songs they're still playing.
The night is built around three distinct slots. PES opens things off from 6:30 to 7:15 PM, and then Novus Rose takes over from 7:30 to 8:30 PM to run through the EP. Once they're done, DJ Augi D keeps the room going from 8:30 until 10 PM, so the music doesn't stop when the band steps off.

If you're planning to be there, it pays to RSVP online ahead of time: the first 50 guests to do so get a complimentary drink ticket at check-in, one per RSVP while supplies last. Las Perlas is at 405 East 7th Street in downtown Austin, and the whole thing runs from 5 to 10 PM.
