Blues-rock performance by Nico Little & the North Americans at C-Boy's Heart & Soul, part of their Monday night residency.
Nico Little & the North Americans play C-Boy's Heart & Soul on Monday, August 31, at 10 PM. It's part of their Monday night residency at C-Boy's, which runs all summer long, so if you've already caught them on a previous Monday, you know the drill.
Nico Little is an Ohio-born, Canadian-raised blues-rock guitarist and songwriter who packed his car in Montreal and drove to Austin in 2023. Since arriving, he and his rotating band, The North Americans, have become staples of the Texas rock and blues scene, playing some of the state's most iconic stages, including Antone's Nightclub, the Continental Club, the Corpus Christi Amphitheater and the Austin Long Center. Their sound draws on a wide range of blues and rock influences, from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Muddy Waters to Gary Clark Jr., ZZ Top, John Lee Hooker and The Grateful Dead. In 2025 the lineup grew to include the international guitarist Rhys John Stygal, and the band has since shared stages with Buddy Guy, Christone 'Kingfish' Ingram and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Because it's a residency, this is one of several chances to see them throughout the summer rather than a one-off date. If you're into the Austin blues and rock circuit, it's a good way to keep a regular night on the calendar. The show is at C-Boy's Heart & Soul, 2008 S Congress Ave, starting at 10 PM with a $10 cover.
