An intimate recital by soprano Nadine Sierra, accompanied by pianist Bryan Wagorn, with dinner and open bar before the performance.
Nadine Sierra performs a recital at The Mansion on Friday, October 23, with pianist Bryan Wagorn accompanying her. It's billed as an intimate evening of song, and the singing doesn't start right away: dinner and an open bar precede the performance.
Sierra is a soprano from Delray Beach, Florida, who has spent her career on some of the biggest stages in opera. She's performed at the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, the Paris Opera, and the Royal Opera House. Along the way, she's picked up a few distinctions that mark her as one of the youngest voices to make a name for herself: she was the youngest singer ever to win the Marilyn Horne Foundation Award and the youngest soprano to win the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She also earned the Richard Tucker Award and the Met's Beverly Sills Artist Award.
Beyond the awards, she's an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon recording artist, known for a crystalline vocal beauty, seamless technique, and a captivating stage presence. This recital brings her into a smaller setting than the opera houses she usually fills, with Bryan Wagorn on piano.
