EP release party with live performances by Hollow Skulls, Swellin', and Reality Refugees at Flamingo Cantina.
My Mistress are celebrating their new EP at Flamingo Cantina on Friday, July 24, with Hollow Skulls, Swellin', and Reality Refugees joining them on the bill. It's an EP release party, so the night is built around the new material coming out of the My Mistress camp.
Flamingo Cantina has been a fixture in Austin since 1991, and it's known for a few resident nights that bring in a regular crowd. There's 'Dreadneck Wednesdays,' the reggae series starring the Mau Mau Chaplains, which they bill as the best local reggae and ska show in town, and 'Mad Vibez,' the residency with DMadness and Rapid Ric. This show sits outside those weekly slots, though it shares the same room.

The night runs from 9 PM to 2 AM, with doors opening at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $7 presale and $10 the night of the show, and it's 21 and over.
