Midnight Beverage is a Gulf Coast indie act from Houston, Texas, playing a brand of indie alternative rock once described as "The Strokes on meth." They blend the irreverent fun and looseness of late 90s alternative rock with the ear-worms of the early 2000s indie scene, drawing on The Strokes, Modest Mouse, and Kings of Leon. It's a sound that sits right in that pocket between the loose, slightly unraveled energy of the 90s and the tighter, hook-driven indie that took over in the early 2000s.
