MCR-T headlines Kingdom Nightclub on Saturday, August 8, with Orya and Juuud0 on the bill. The night is presented by Resound Presents, a small team that books live music, comedy, and related acts across Central Texas, with a focus on Austin and San Antonio, and offers creative marketing and design services for touring musicians.
Kingdom Nightclub is the resurrected version of the original East Fifth location of Kingdom, which closed abruptly in 2018. Owner Garrett Boyd teamed up with his brother Justin to bring the high-octane electronic room back four years later. The new venue sits within the Red River Cultural District and boasts a capacity of 600, nearly double that of the original. It's a proper dance floor in the heart of downtown, and this lineup keeps the focus on the DJ booth.
