R&B and pop singer Malcolm Todd performs live on his Do That Again Tour at the ACL Live venue.
Malcolm Todd plays ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, both nights starting at 8 PM. He's coming through Austin as part of the Do That Again Tour, so if you're around that weekend, you've got two chances to catch him.
Todd is a Los Angeles-born songwriter who graduated high school in 2022 and told his parents he'd take a gap year to pursue music. By the time he shared "Sweet Boy" in 2024, his day job at Cold Stone was gone and tracks like "Roommates" were racking up millions of streams. He describes his sound as R&B and pop, and the tour is built around his self-titled album, which he calls Malcolm Todd.
On that record, Omar Apollo is the lone guest, and Todd worked closely with frequent collaborators Jonah Cochran and Charlie Ziman. He called "Bleed" the first single from the album, so that's one of the songs you can expect to hear live. The set will lean on the new material, but it'll pull from the earlier tracks that helped him move from a gap year into a full-time career.
