Los Tucanes de Tijuana (Tucanes Time Tour 2026)

Los Tucanes de Tijuana play ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Thursday, December 3, as part of their Tucanes Time Tour 2026. They're one of the most prolific norteño acts in the world, with more than 13 million albums sold and 55 songs on the Billboard charts. The group formed in 1987 in the nightclub scene of Tijuana as a quartet led by Mario Quintero Lara on lead vocals and guitar and Joel Higuera on accordion, with bassist Mario Moreno and drummer David Servin.

Their repertoire blends ballads and dance tracks marked by double entendres and lyrical stories of Latino life. In 2012, the album 365 Días reached No. 3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and won them their first Latin Grammy for Best Norteño Album. Since then, they've picked up numerous Billboard Mexican Music Awards and BMI Awards. In 2010, they were featured in the first-ever Spanish-only program at the Grammy Museum.

They've played some of the biggest stages in Mexico, including Dodger Stadium and the Zócalo, the 100,000-capacity plaza in Mexico City. This Austin stop is part of the Tucanes Time Tour 2026, which takes them across the country this year.
