An intensive queer two-step dance workshop for femmes and themmes led by Cowpoke Movement at Sagebrush.
Cowpoke Movement is hosting a queer two-step workshop at Sagebrush on Saturday, August 1, from 4 PM to 6 PM. It's called Lesson in Leadin’, and it's built specifically for femmes and themmes. If you've spent your time on the dance floor following and you're ready to switch things up, this is the one.
The session is an intensive, two-hour dive into leading queer two-step. The whole point is to give you the tools to take the lead yourself, so you aren't relying on someone else to drive the dance. It's a queer space, and the focus is on femmes and themmes, so you'll be learning alongside people who get the vibe.
One of the best parts is that you don't need a partner to show up. You can come solo and work with whoever's there, or you can bring a follow along if you've already got someone you want to practice with. Either way, you'll spend the afternoon on your feet, getting the footwork and the lead down.
