Kathryn Legendre

Kathryn Legendre is back at Hotel San José on Thursday, August 6, for First Thursdays. She's a honky tonk hero around here, and this is her return to the bamboo, so if you've been following her, you know the drill: it's Legendre on the bill, and the night is split into two halves.

Mariscos Frontera kicks things off at 6 PM, serving up seafood bites, and the live music set follows at 7 PM. If you're coming early, there are all-day lounge specials running from noon—$8 Negronis and Lone Star buckets—so you can settle in well before the music starts. The whole thing runs from 6 PM to 9 PM, with the food and the set taking their turns.

It's a free show for everyone, and since it's part of First Thursdays, it's one of those easy ways to spend a Thursday night in the city. You can arrive early for the seafood and the drinks, or just show up for the music. Either way, Legendre is the one on stage. The food starts at 6 PM, the music at 7 PM, and the whole evening wraps by 9 PM.
