Concert by the six-piece band Juice, blending rock, pop, R&B and hip-hop, on their Fire in the Desert tour.
Juice play The Sunset Room on Saturday, October 24, as part of their tour for the new album, Fire in the Desert. The show is presented by Charisma with Christopher Blair, and they're sharing the bill with Lostboycrow.
Juice is a six-piece band that blends rock, pop, R&B and hip-hop. They formed in Boston while the members were in college, and the lineup includes Ben Stevens on vocals, Christian Rose on violin and vocals, Kamau Burton on vocals and acoustic guitar, Daniel Moss on guitar, and Rami El-Abidin on bass. The violin sits right in the mix alongside the guitar and vocals, so the rock and pop elements share space with the R&B and hip-hop side of things rather than one taking over. Fire in the Desert is their latest record, and this Austin date is one stop on the tour they're running for it.
