Jennifer Foster & The Audacity

Jennifer Foster & The Audacity are back at The Continental Club on Tuesday, October 6, holding down their regular Tuesday night slot on South Congress. If you've spent any time around Austin's soul and funk scene, you've likely run into them. The band is fronted by Jennifer Foster, who handles both vocals and bass, and they've built their name on a sound that pulls from Motown, R&B, blues, funk, and rock. The set mixes their own original songs with those timeless influences, and they play as a full band.

They're a fixture of the city's live music landscape, and the Tuesday night residency at The Continental Club is where you'll find them most consistently. The music is soulful and groove-heavy, and the full-band performance is tight. They've been described as an authentic and electric act, a "sweet and spicy spoonful of the good stuff," and a force to be reckoned with in the Austin scene. That polished sound has taken them beyond the club circuit and onto festivals and other live venues across the region.

It's a 21+ show, so keep your ID handy. Tickets are $25+ through Eventbrite, with a limited number of $25 cash tickets available at the door. The music starts at 6:30 PM at The Continental Club on South Congress.
