Hyperpop Hell returns to 29th Street Ballroom on Thursday, September 24, for another night of hyperpop. It's a DJ-led party that runs the full evening, with the music following the crowd's lead rather than a set list. The night is presented by Hyperpop Hell, and End.Overdose provides free harm reduction resources and tools on site.
Hyperpop Hell describes itself as Austin's best, ultra-inclusive, monthly-ish party, and the format stays the same: a full night of DJs playing the music the crowd wants to hear. It's strictly 18+ with a valid ID, and there are no refunds.
The venue, 29th Street Ballroom, is run by the team behind Hotel Vegas, Kinda Tropical, Tweedy's, Little Darlin', CHESS CLUB, Yellow Jacket Social Club, and Resound Presents. They call it "your second living room," a place that pays tribute to what's come before and what's coming next with solid hangs, loud music, cold drinks, and warm food.
