A monthly collective healing space for queer BIPOC members offering acupuncture, health screenings, and creative workshops.
Healing Haus returns to allgo on Monday, August 3, as part of its monthly series for queer BIPOC community members. It's a collective healing space hosted by Amazing Affects, and the whole thing is built around the idea of queer BIPOC folks coming together to rest, reconnect, and receive care through art, conversation, wellness practices, and mutual support. They describe creativity as the vehicle for healing and liberation here, so the creative side of things is just as central as the wellness side.
On the practical end, that looks like acupuncture, health screenings, and creative workshops. It's designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit while connecting you with accessible therapeutic and wellness resources in a soft, affirming environment. The goal is to bring these kinds of resources into a space where you can actually access them alongside other people from your own community, rather than having to seek them out on your own.
Because it's a monthly thing, it's less of a one-off and more of a recurring spot to come back to. If you're queer and BIPOC and have been looking for a place to just be and take care of yourself without having to explain who you are first, this is exactly that kind of space. It's about resting and reconnecting in a room where you're already seen and understood.
