Goblin Jam

Dylan M. Blackthorn is hosting the Goblin Jam at the Tiny Minotaur Tavern on Thursday, July 23. It's an acoustic, goblin-themed jam session, and Blackthorn is running the whole thing under his stage name, Sir Blackthorn the Goblin Bard.

If you've been to the tavern's monthly Synth Soundbath, this is the acoustic mirror image. The Soundbath is a collaborative drone night built around synthesizers; the Goblin Jam is the same collaborative spirit, but with acoustic instruments only. No electricity is allowed, so you bring your own instrument and play. The jam is open-ended, and you're encouraged to summon your inner goblin, leprechaun, or fairy sprite—come and go as you please and jam respectfully. Goblinoid costumes are encouraged, so if you've got a pointy hat or some green face paint, this is the night to wear it.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the jam runs from 8 PM to 11 PM. It's a 21+ night, and there's a special PVP card, 'Slime Bomb,' available for the occasion. Admission is free for tavern members and up to three guests; non-members pay $10, though that's waived if you bring an instrument to play.
