Gary Owen - No Hard Feelings Tour

Gary Owen brings his No Hard Feelings tour to ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Wednesday, December 30, 2026. It's his first major North American theater tour, and the Austin stop falls right between Christmas and New Year's, so it works as a mid-holiday night out.

Owen has been doing stand-up for more than two decades, and his set is built on observational humor and storytelling. He pulls a lot from his own life, his time in the military, and the kind of everyday absurdities that most people recognize regardless of where they're from. If you've seen him before, that's the same approach he's been refining—taking the ordinary and finding the punchline in it.

Beyond the stage, he's a familiar face from a few different worlds. He's appeared in movies like Ride Along with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, Think Like a Man and its sequel, Little Man with the Wayans Brothers, Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy, and College, where he played Bearcat. On television, he starred in his own BET series, The Gary Owen Show, co-hosted TruTV's Upload with Shaquille O'Neal, and played Zach the barber on TBS's Tyler Perry's House of Payne. He also writes, produces, and performs his own comedy specials and hosts the podcast #Getsome with Gary Owen.

No Hard Feelings is the tour he's taking across North American theaters, and this is the Austin date. The show is on Wednesday, December 30, at 7 PM at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
